By Train
The Underground is a snap to reach via train. Maplewood Station is part of the Morris-Essex rail line and includes Mid-town direct service to Penn Station, NY! Once off the train - you're only a few yards away! One side of the tracks is Maplewood Village the other side is Memorial Park, the Library is the only building in that section of Memorial Park.
To Burgdorff Cultural Center: When on the Village side - straight ahead is Burgdorff Realtors, the Burgdorff Cultural Center is right behind it on Durand.
To the Woman's Club: Continue right past the Cultural Center and walk left on Woodland, the road curves around and will hit the Woman's Club.
To St. George's: Keep walking up the hill from the Woman's Club and you'll reach St. George's Church at the top of Woodland.

By Car
1) Maplewood Memorial Library
From the South
Take Garden State Parkway North.
Exit at the Union tolls, the first exit after exit 140. Stay to the right. Immediately after paying toll, take the first right which puts you onto Route 78 east. Take an immediate exit off 78 east at exit 54. Follow signs to Route 78 west by taking 2 more rights. Follow Route 78 Westbound directions.
From the North:
Take Garden State Parkway South.
Get off at Exit 142 and take 78 West. Follow Route 78 Westbound directions.
From the East:
Via Route 78 Westbound
Take exit 50B, and bear right at the light onto Vauxhall Road. At the third traffic light, make a right onto Valley Street. Continue through two traffic lights. At the
third light, make a left onto Baker Street. The library is up the street on your right.
Via 280 Westbound
Take Exit 10 and turn left on Northfield Avenue. At third light, turn left onto Gregory Ave. Follow Gregory Avenue directions.
From the West:
Via Route 78 Eastbound
Take exit 49B. Bear right onto Springfield Avenue. As you approach the first stoplight, watch for a sign on the right for Valley Street. Bear right onto the jughandle
turn to get onto Valley Street. Proceed on Valley through three lights. At the fourth light, make a left onto Baker Street. Maplewood Library is up the street on your
right.
Via 280 Eastbound
Take Exit 9, Mt. Pleasant Avenue/West Orange/Montclair. Stay on Brennan Drive to the end. Make a right onto Northfield Avenue. Go two lights and turn left onto Gregory Avenue. Follow Gregory Avenue directions.
From Gregory Avenue:
Continue for 2.2 miles (Gregory becomes Wyoming Ave.) to second
light. Turn left onto South Orange Ave. At the fourth light, turn right onto Valley Street. Follow Valley Street through four traffic lights. At the fifth light, turn right onto Baker Street. Maplewood Library is up the street on your right.
2) St. George's Church
Follow directions to the library. Go past the library towards Maplewood Village. At the stop sign make a right onto Maplewood Avenue. Make a left at Inwood Place. Yield left onto Woodland Road. The church is at the top of Woodland on your right.
3) Burgdorff Cultural Center
Follow directions to the library. Go past the library towards Maplewood Village. At the stop sign make a right onto Maplewood Avenue. The Center is on Durand Road which is the first left past the movie theater and is directly behind Burgdorff Realtors.
If you're taking the train, get off on the village side. Burgdorff Realtors will be right across the street and the center is right behind.
4) Maplewood Womans Club
Follow directions to the library. Go past the library towards Maplewood Village. At the stop sign make a right onto Maplewood Avenue. Make a left at Inwood Place. The club is on your lefthand side right before you hit Woodland Road.
